How Much Will Delivery Cost?

The delivery cost is based on parcel weight, and the breakdown is:

  • Up to 28kg – £5.99
  • Every additional parcel required weighing up to 28kg – £5.99

Deliveries to the following postcodes will be charged at £18.99 for up to 28kg and £18.99 for every additional 28kg:

Scottish Highlands: AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-52, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50.

Scottish Islands: HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

We offer free delivery on a huge amount of products to ensure you get the best value for money. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free delivery outside the mainland UK this includes the Scottish Highlands and Scottish Islands

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to some areas of the UK, they include:

  • Guernsey, GY1 – GY9
  • Jersey, JE1 – JE4
  • Isles of Scilly, TR21 – TR25
  • BFPO1 – BFPO0999.
  • Republic of Ireland
  • Northern Ireland

Free Delivery Items – 2 Bag Offer

Every two bags of 13kg Dr Green Wild Bird Food gives you 28kg of Free Delivery.

For example: If you were to purchase two bags of 13kg Dr Green Wild Bird Food, totalling to 26kg. That would then give you an extra 2kg left on your Free Delivery.

Christmas Schedule

Over Christmas, the web team in the Farm and Pet Place will endeavor to get orders shipped to you right up until the 23rd of December. Although 98% of our deliveries arrive within 1-3 working days; couriers are very busy this time of year and there could always be unforeseen delays.

You can click and collect from any of our stores over the festive week. The last guaranteed before Christmas delivery date is the 14th. If an item is out of stock and you continue to order we’ll attempt to get this to you as soon as possible as our suppliers have slowed or closed until the first week of January.

Bank Holiday Deliveries

Over bank holiday weekends our team work up to Thursday 4pm Items will be despatched but not delivered until the tuesday.

Our warehouse is closed as of Thursday 4pm. Any orders placed Fri-Mon will be picked and packed on Tuesday. Your 2-3 day handle time and 24hr delivery begins when you recive your despatch email; Not when you recive your confirmation email.

Choose The Best Option For You:

We want your pets to get what they need as fast and as easily as possible. You can either pop to one of our stores to collect your order or have it delivered to you at home or in work.

How Does Click & Collect Work?

Simply order and reserve your items online and select which store you want to collect from. When your order is ready, the store will contact you to confirm your order is ready for collection.

How Does Home Delivery Work?

Simply order your items online and our warehouse team will pick and dispatch your products quickly and securely with DPD. DPD will then notify you to let you know when they will be delivering your parcel.

How Long Will My Delivery Take?

Delivery is normally made within 2 working days of being dispatched.

We aim to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. If your order does not reach you after two/three days of ordering you can contact us on 01492 542662.

After your order has been dispatched we will send you a confirmation email which will include the tracking details of your parcel. If you would like a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery please make sure you add your mobile number to the order.

Who Will Deliver My Parcel?

The main courier we have teamed up with is DPD. They are the UK’s most trusted courier and provide the best level of service on the market. You can track your order via their website: http://www.dpd.co.uk/tracking

 From there you’ll be able to change your delivery day, safe place, or chosen neighbour.

If your order is large (requiring 20+ boxes) we will be in touch with you regarding the possibility of a pallet delivery. We do this to speed up larger orders, tailor our service to your needs as well as stopping the overuse of waste materials.

Returns

Returns And Refunds:

If you wish to cancel an order contact our Sales team by email or by phone, Please ensure you have you order number to hand and include the order number and the date the order was placed in all correspondence. An order can be cancelled once placed, if the order has not been dispatched with our couriers.

If your item has already been dispatched or processed with our couriers please be aware that we will refund your original delivery charge when a product is faulty or damaged, but not when a product is simply unwanted.

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund a product. Please see our refund policy contained in our Terms and Conditions.

Can I Return An Item To A Store?

Yes, simply take the delivery note and invoice you received with your delivery and the product you wish to return to a store and tell the sales assistant you bought it online.

Exception: if the product you wish to return was despatched directly from a third party supplier (highlighted on the delivery note) or is a personalised product it cannot be returned to Farm and Pet Place stores. Please follow the return instructions on your delivery note or contact our sales team if in doubt.

How Can I Return My Order?

If you would like to arrange a collection from our courier please contact our sales team.

Please include your Delivery note and invoice with your return and note on this the reason for return.

If you would like to use your own courier please return the item to:

Exception: We regret that personalised products that are especially made or ordered with your choice of name, fabric, message, or other customised aspect cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective.

Please note we will refund the price of the item to the purchaser once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge and collection will only be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged, or faulty goods when all the items are returned.

To ensure that your refund is processed as quickly as possible, please follow the procedures below:

Return the product in its original packaging; Pack the product to avoid damage during returns transit; Include your despatch note or your name, address, phone number, order number, and whether you require a refund or a replacement.

Refund Policy:

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund a product, providing (in the case of any non-defective products) it is in a fully resalable condition within 28 days of purchase. Returned items should be in original, undamaged packaging. “Please see below for exceptions to this policy”

If the product returned is not in a fully resalable condition or the packaging is damages, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Exceptions: we are unable to refund medicated products or products that are especially made or ordered with your choice of name, fabric, message or other customised aspect cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty.

Faulty Returns:

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty item, please contact our sales team on 01492 542662 for details on repair, refund or exchange.

Should you feel that an issue has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please let us know by contacting our sales team on 01492 542662 between 7am and 9pm Monday – Friday or 9am – 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
