Where should you place the Squirrel Feeder? Watching the antics of a squirrel trying to sneak some peanuts from a bird feeder is often hilarious to watch. So, why not give him his own feeder so that he can help himself. The feeder can be placed against a fence post, on a tree or anywhere where the squirrel can have peace and quiet to enjoy his feast. The feeder has a long sturdy metal base for the squirrel to stand on or sit comfortably. The hinged roof can be lifted up with ease by the squirrel so that he can indulge himself with his favourite pine nuts or peanuts. How to clean the Squirrel Feeder: The feeder is made from metal and plastic and has two screws attaching the plastic feeder tube to the metal base. Unscrew the two screws to remove the plastic tube for cleaning purposes. The Squirrel feeder should be cleaned often by placing the feeder in a bowl of warm water containing a mild detergent. When cleaning the feeder wear rubber gloves and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. When the weather turns nasty and cold and the bushy tailed frisky squirrel canít find enough food, they need our tender loving care. The simple act of putting out a feeder full of their favourite food could be a lifesaving gesture. Colour: Green Material: Metal/Plastic Size: Height 20cm
