Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Must be fed soaked. Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will decrease the minimum soaking time), with 1 part Beet to 5 parts water. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required. NUTRIENTS All products are natural and seasonal variations can occur, the packaging of each product will detail the typical analysis which is relevant to the batch/cut within the bag.

Supabeet (Dried (sugar) beet feed, molassed) is listed under number 4.1.11 in the EU Catalogue of Feed Materials. Suggested feeding rates are produced as a guide only and many other factors may have an overriding effect on animal response; no performance guarantee can be given. Rations should be carefully balanced for energy and protein, contain sufficient forage to maintain rumen function and be fortified with an appropriate vitamin and mineral supplement. Animals must have constant access to clean water.
Flaked Maize (Micronized), Flaked Maize is enjoyed by wild birds, poultry, Waterfowl, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Hamster as well as Horses. Maize is a source of protein, as well as starch. The starch in micronized flaked maize is broken down during the production, making the starch easier to digest. Flaked Maize is an excellent supplementary food for horses and small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.
Rolled Barley 20kg Barley is an important part of many horse's diets. With a high level of calories and over 80% digestible it is a quality feed and very cost effective. We only use the finest barley available. It is a pale golden colour and is free from dust and debris. As some horses don't like the taste of barley, it can be fed with added molasses or even cooked to satisfy those fussy eaters. If you crush your own barley before feeding it to the horse, always ensure this is done just before feeding as the nutrition value of the barley declines over time after crushing. It is also a good idea to mix the barley with other feeds such as chopped hay or bran to ensure your horse gets a healthy balanced diet. As with all animal feed, it should be stored in a dry, cool area away from sunlight. A food storage container would be perfect.
The whole grains are cleaned then cooked and rolled. This process makes the energy from the grains more easily available to the horse's digestive system and helps to make the feed non heating while still providing valuable nutrients. Always make any changes gradually. All equines are individuals and it is advisable to monitor and adjust the feeding regime to match the requirements of your own horse or pony. Rolled oats can also be fed to a variety of other animals 20kg
Flaked peas are a palatable source of protein and energy; micronisation helps to improve their digestibility. Micronised flaked peas are a good source of B vitamins and a lower energy alternative to soya and beans; the high sugar and starch content makes them an ideal ingredient in ruminant rations.
MMF Micronized Flaked Barley 25kg is a high quality micronized barley. Micronized barley has special implications where small intestine amylase production is low (young livestock, companion animals, horses) and where hind gut production of short chain fatty acids are undesirable. All species benefit from increased productivity - improved growth and production and improved feed conversion. Gelatinised starch has significantly greater susceptibility to amylase degradation than raw starch; gelatinised starch disappears at an increased rate from the rumen - both as bypass carbohydrate and due to microbial utilisation; ileal digestibility is greater than raw starch, across species, and less starch is available for hind gut fermentation. Suitable for all diets where barley is normally included. Recommended for high performance diets and young animal diets/small pets etc. Suitable for horses. Particularly useful in young animal diets, but ideal for any age. Typical analysis (Fresh Weight) Dry Matter (%) 86.0 Moisture (%) 14 Protein (%) 10.5 Oil (%) 3 Fibre (%) 4.5 Ash (%) 2.2 Energy Levels (MJ/Kg) Ruminant (ME) 12 Poultry (ME) 12.5 Pig (DE) 13.5
MMF Micronized Mixed Flakes 25kg are a high quality Micronized Mixed Flakes of Maize, Peas and Barley. A complementary feed. Micronized products have special implications where small intestine amylase production is low (young livestock, companion animals, horses) and where hind gut production of short chain fatty acids are undesirable. Contains approximately 25% Micronized Flaked Peas, 25% Micronized Flaked Maize and 50% Micronized Flaked Barley. Suitable for all diets. Recommended for high performance diets and young animal diets.
