It composts easily with very little waste and doesn't get compressed in the hoof area. It is also very easy to muck out when using in a stable. This self drying straw is highly absorbent. Due to its puffy nature less is needed to create a comfy bed. The added eucalyptus is believed to be a natural deterrent for mites when used for poultry bedding. We also sell this product without eucalyptus. This bale weight around 15-16kg and is very economical. As this is a dust extracted bale you do not need to worry about the health of your horse or other pets.
