MegaTape 12 Is a reinforced polytape. Suitable if you need to erect a medium to long, temporary or semi-permanent fence. This elcetric polytape has reinforced edges that protect from wear and tear. It is made of polyethylene fillaments with larger and a more dense weave of metal threading making it a great high-vis and light weight method of propperly dividing land and grazing areas. Its lightweight design makes it easy to unspool and rewind time and time again. Wind and gales will pass through the open weave design, reducing rubbing and stress on the line. It is reccomended that you use a low impedence charger and not a continuous one to help longevity. Easyrope 6 is a convenient and easy to intall form of electric fencing. More robust and visible due to a larger diameter poly rope is perfect for seperating parts of land and dividing grazing areas. Its not reccomended as a perimeter fencing but is suitable for most other semi-perminent situations. The Easyline Super 6 White Polywire is an electric fence wire generally used for short to medium cattle fences in good conditions. This wire is three times more conductive than standard polywire. It is not advisable to use it as a perimeter fence for horses. Electric fencing causes a brief shock: the pain short lived and doesn’t harm the animal. It is a much kinder option than an animal getting caught in barbed wire and having his skin torn causing severe pain and longer lasting damage. The Easyline 3 Orange Polywire is a basic electric fence wire and is generally used for temporary fencing for sheep and cattle that are in fields with short grass. It is also ideal to use along the top of post and rail fencing to prevent horses from chewing the fence. Its vibrant colour offers superb visibility to ensure that it is easily seen by animals and people. It is not advisable to use it as a perimeter fence for horses. Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Leadout Cable. A leadout cable is used to join the energiser to an electric fence and earth stake. If the energiser is some distance from the fence, for safety reasons, it can be run underground. The leadout cable is also useful to run under a gateway, so that the electric current is carried from the tape/rope on one side of the gate to the other side, safely underground. This Easy Leadout/Undergate Cable has a 1.6mm core and is a double insulated cable with a galvanised steel conductor. It is ideal for normal fence installations. Please note, that it is not advisable to use electrician’s cable for two reasons: - An electric fencing system will have up to 10,000 volts; an electrician’s cable is only designed to deal with 240 volts. - An electrician’s cable probably has copper as part of its make-up, and when this is connected to galvanised wire, it is likely to corrode at the joint. Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Polywire Joiner. The Joiner does what it says on the packet - joins together two lengths of polywire to make one continuous rope. This joiner is made of stainless steel and is used to clamp together polywire up to 3mm in diameter. Sometimes, when erecting a fence, one roll of polywire isn’t enough, and that’s when the joiner comes into its own. A line of polywire is attached to each end of the Polywire Joiner. Both ends of the polywire are then clamped down by tightening the screws using a spanner (not supplied) to offer one continuous line of polywire to make the perfect electrical contact with the ultimate conductivity. It is essential that the electric fence polywire has no kinks or knots as knots and kinks can easily cause the polywire to break, cutting off the flow of electricity reducing the effectiveness of the protection for your animals.
