Electric fencing uses a variety of products. Whether to use Tape, Wire or Rope depends on various factors - how much you want to spend, length of fence, temporary or long-term fence, conditions, i.e. length of grass. The Easyline 3 Orange Polywire is a basic electric fence wire and is generally used for temporary fencing for sheep and cattle that are in fields with short grass. It is also ideal to use along the top of post and rail fencing to prevent horses from chewing the fence. Its vibrant colour offers superb visibility to ensure that it is easily seen by animals and people. It is not advisable to use it as a perimeter fence for horses.

It is a much kinder option than an animal getting caught in barbed wire and having his skin torn causing severe pain and longer lasting damage. The animal will soon learn that leaning against the fence is not a good idea and will keep away from it.
