Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up needs either a mains energiser or a battery energiser. The beauty of a battery energiser is in its flexibility. It can be positioned anywhere and work in the open. This 9-12V Battery Leads Spring Clip can be used to enable a 9V energiser to run off a 12V battery. The spring clip ends fit easily and securely to the pillar type battery terminals for maximum connectivity. Colour: Red/Black Material: Metal/Plastic
Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Polywire Joiner. The Joiner does what it says on the packet - joins together two lengths of polywire to make one continuous rope. This joiner is made of stainless steel and is used to clamp together polywire up to 3mm in diameter. Sometimes, when erecting a fence, one roll of polywire isn’t enough, and that’s when the joiner comes into its own. A line of polywire is attached to each end of the Polywire Joiner. Both ends of the polywire are then clamped down by tightening the screws using a spanner (not supplied) to offer one continuous line of polywire to make the perfect electrical contact with the ultimate conductivity. It is essential that the electric fence polywire has no kinks or knots as knots and kinks can easily cause the polywire to break, cutting off the flow of electricity reducing the effectiveness of the protection for your animals. Material: Stainless Steel Pack of 5
An Energiser is like the nucleus of the electric fencing kit - the heart and hub that sends out an electrical pulse to an insulated fence line at one second intervals which is then carried along the conductors. To keep an energiser active, it is always useful to have a 12V Rechargeable Fencer/Leisure Battery to hand. This is a 75 Ah Deep cycle wet battery, lead acid filled and provides a slow discharge without any degradation. An electric shock occurs when an animal leans against the fence which acts as a switch allowing the current to pass through the animal to the ground back to the energiser to complete the circuit. If there is no charge left in the energiser, the electric fence becomes ineffective as there will be no electric current to prevent an animal escaping, rendering the electric fence useless. Size: 12V
An Energiser is like the nucleus of the electric fencing kit - the heart and hub that sends out an electrical pulse to an insulated fence line at one second intervals which is then carried along the conductors. This is a non-rechargeable air-alkaline dry battery for use with B250, B250 solar and other 9v energisers. It is compatible for use with solar panel - this will increase the battery life by approximately 3-4 times. As a guide, a 55 Ah battery will last 55 days, the 90 Ah 90 days and so on. This is variable depending on the energiser and condition of the fence, etc. By using this dry battery, the energiser’s life will be greatly extended. Size: 9V

An Energiser is like the nucleus of the electric fencing kit - the heart and hub that sends out an electrical pulse to an insulated fence line at one second intervals which is then carried along the conductors. An electric shock occurs when an animal leans against the fence which acts as a switch allowing the current to pass through the animal to the ground back to the energiser to complete the circuit. This shock is brief and the pain short lived and doesn’t harm the animal. It is a much kinder option than an animal getting caught in barbed wire and having his skin torn causing severe pain and longer lasting damage. The animal will learn that leaning against the fence is not a good idea and will keep away from it. If you have an animal that needs to be separated from other animals, this energiser is ideal for smaller areas of land such as strip grazing, paddock dividing or smaller field boundaries. Choose an energiser depending on the length of the fence and choice of power supply. This Easystop P250 9V Energiser 0.25J will suit a fence that measures 2,500m if the grass is short or 750m if the grass is a little longer . It is not suitable for grass that is long. The length of grass reduces the conductivity of the electric shock, therefore, the shorter the grass the better. It is a very robust and reliable Dual Power Energiser and runs on a 9V battery. There are indicator lights on the energiser to show the status of the battery - Green to show the pulse indicator, Orange shows that the battery is low and Red to show that the battery needs recharging. Features: - 9V Dry Battery (disposable) - Battery charge indicator - Battery protect function - 3 Year Warranty Included in the box are all the necessary connection leads and an earth stake.

Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Leadout Cable. A leadout cable is used to join the energiser to an electric fence and earth stake. If the energiser is some distance from the fence, for safety reasons, it can be run underground. The leadout cable is also useful to run under a gateway, so that the electric current is carried from the tape/rope on one side of the gate to the other side, safely underground. This Easy Leadout/Undergate Cable has a 1.6mm core and is a double insulated cable with a galvanised steel conductor. It is ideal for normal fence installations. Please note, that it is not advisable to use electrician’s cable for two reasons: - An electric fencing system will have up to 10,000 volts; an electrician’s cable is only designed to deal with 240 volts. - An electrician’s cable probably has copper as part of its make-up, and when this is connected to galvanised wire, it is likely to corrode at the joint.
