The Micro 3 Energiser is like the nucleus of the electric fencing kit - the heart and hub that sends out an one electrical pulse every second to your insulated line or polytape included in this kit. An electric shock occurs when an animal leans against the fence which acts as a switch allowing the current to pass through the animal to the ground back to the energiser to complete the circuit. This shock is brief and the pain short lived and doesn't harm the animal, the short burst is much kinder than open wounds from barbed wire. This Energiser uses 2 x 1.5V D-Cell batteries (included).

An essential component of an electric fence setup is an earth rod.The purpose of an earth rod is to be a conductor of electricity, i.e. when the current of electricity flows from an energiser and touches your horse/cow and gives it a shock, the shock path needs to continue into the ground via the earth rod back to the energiser to complete the circuit.

The Easytape 12mm x 200 is a basic electric fence polytape and is generally used for semi-permanent fencing for sheep and cattle that are in fields with short grass. It is not advisable to use it as a perimeter fence for horses. The tape runs through the 105cm Easyposts that help creatw ou

Sometimes, when a tape has been erected, and it has been up for some time, it can become a little slack. That's when a Tape End Tensioner comes into its own. The purpose of a Tape End Tensioner is to help keep tape lines taught, looking good and lasting longer and in the correct position.

The Gate Handle has an internal extension spring to provide tension on the line and is also ridged to offer a superb grip. Allowing you to effectively unhook your wires to pass through freely.

The Tape End Connectors allow tape to be connected to gate insulators and handles to give a connection with optimal electrical conductivity.

This kit is supplied with 1pk D-Cell Batteries for convenience . The kit also includes 12V battery leads as an option.
