Feeding Guide:
Tortoises are best fed 2 or 3 times a day with as much food as they can eat in an hour. Place the food into a shallow dish and place in the enclosure. Can be fed dry or sprayed with water, but do not soak or over-wet. For young tortoises, it is better to lightly spray with water before feeding. Although this feed can be used as a complete diet it is advised that a varied diet containing suitable fresh plants is provided. The vitamin and Calcium supplementation in this food provides low level supplementation. Calcium and vitamin supplements should be used a normal.

High protein flavoured jelly ideal as a treat for reptiles or as food for invertebrates. ProRep Jelly pots are manufactured from a high quality vegetable gel which is then fortified with protein and flavoured using fruit extract or other natural flavours. They can be used as a food for a wide range of plant or fruit eating invertebrates and as a treat for herbivorous lizards. Directions: Remove the film lid before use. Always position the jelly pot in the enclosure so it is accessible to the animals. Remove uneaten jelly after 48 hours. Invertebrates: Place the open pot in the enclosure. Crested Geckos, Day Geckos, Anoles, etc: These species lick the jelly surface. Use the ProRep jelly pot holder to keep the jelly pots in the correct position, especially with arboreal animals. Other Species: remove the jelly by pressing on the bottom of the pot. It is best to feed the jelly on a dish to prevent contamination by the substrate.

Directions for use:
Calci dust can be used to supplement vegetable food for tortoises and all other herbivorous reptiles, to provide essential dietary Calcium. As it is not possible to overdose with Calci Dust it can be used at every feed. Sprinkle freely over food immediately before feeding. Large quantities are not required, due to the 100% concentration. It is best to avoid smothering the food as they may find it unpalatable. If acceptance is a problem, start feeding very low levels and gradually increase.
Most reptiles can absorb calcium from their food only in the presence of Vitamin D3. It is essential that UVB light, of the correct wavelength and intensity, is provided to enable D3 synthesis, or that oral D3 is supplied. It is recommended that a vitamin/mineral supplement is used in conjunction with Calci Dust.
