Give a Tortoise some ProRep Tortoise food and he might just win the race. These sweet and slow herbivores enjoy plodding through a lifetime munching on delicious greens and flowers. Leafy greens and plants have a lot to offer in a tortoise's diet as they carry a lot of healthy nutrients. However, a variable diet is key for these calm creatures; they certainly aren't choosy.

Years of observation in the wild has shown that they will most likely eat anything they come across on their travels, eating a staggering 200 species of plant! ProReps low protein tortoise food combines a range of deliciously healthy and natural food, from grasses and weeds to fruits and vegetables. It is suitable for all Mediterranean, Horsfields and Sulcata Tortoises.

Natural goodness is retained in this food due to it's larger chunks and cobs, helping to retain as much goodness as possible. Once opened, the aroma of sweet fruit will tickle his senses, enticing him to take a bite. This scrumptiously nibbly feed is packed with ingredients that contain high levels of Calcium. Calcium is an incredibly important element for a Tortoise, helping to facilitate healthy bone structure in their shell. Vitamin D3 has also been added. This 'sunshine vitamin' is critical for tortoises, as it unlocks the cells to accept the Calcium into their system. Both work together in harmony, promoting healthy bones and keeping their little home sturdy and strong.

With a range of fruits such as Apple and plantain, various vegetables and 29 types of natural weeds and grasses, this fibre-some feed is the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, with a new and exciting flavour in each chompy bite. With low grain content and low in protein, it is a healthier alternative to other feeds and will make a wonderful choice as a complete and balanced meal. Variety in it's best form, your tortoise will adore this food, making meal time his best time of the day.

Sizes Available:

Feeding Guide:
Tortoises are best fed 2 or 3 times a day with as much food as they can eat in an hour. Place the food into a shallow dish and place in the enclosure. Can be fed dry or sprayed with water, but do not soak or over-wet. For young tortoises, it is better to lightly spray with water before feeding. Although this feed can be used as a complete diet it is advised that a varied diet containing suitable fresh plants is provided.
