Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required. An Energiser is like the nucleus of the electric fencing kit - the heart and hub that sends out an electrical pulse to an insulated fence line at one second intervals which is then carried along the conductors. This is a non-rechargeable air-alkaline dry battery for use with B250, B250 solar and other 9v energisers. It is compatible for use with solar panel - this will increase the battery life by approximately 3-4 times. As a guide, a 55 Ah battery will last 55 days, the 90 Ah 90 days and so on. This is variable depending on the energiser and condition of the fence, etc. An electric shock occurs when an animal leans against the fence which acts as a switch allowing the current to pass through the animal to the ground back to the energiser to complete the circuit. If there is no charge left in the energiser, the electric fence becomes ineffective as there will be no electric current to prevent an animal escaping, rendering the electric fence useless. By using this dry battery, the energiser’s life will be greatly extended. Size: 9V
