Active Ingredients:- Ivermectin 1% w/v Withdrawal Period Milk:- Do not use on lactating cows or within 60 days of calving. The product should only be given by subcutaneous injection at the recommended dosage level of 200 mcg ivermectin per kg bodyweight under the loose skin in front of, or behind, the shoulder in cattle and over the neck in sheep. At the recommended dosage level of 300 mcg ivermectin per kg of bodyweight, the product should be given only subcutaneously in the neck of pigs. Each ml contains 10 mg of ivermectin sufficient to treat 50 kg of bodyweight of cattle and sheep and 33 kg of bodyweight of pigs. The injection may be given with any standard automatic or single-dose or hypodermic syringe. In young pigs, especially those below 16 kg for which less than 0.5 ml of the product is indicated, dosing accuracy is important. The use of a syringe that can accurately deliver as little as 0.1 ml is recommended. In young lambs weighing less than 20.0 kg give 0.1 ml per 5 kg. In these lambs the use of a syringe with can deliver as little as 0.1 ml is recommended Cattle: Meat and Offal - 49 days. Do not use in lactating cows producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows including pregnant dairy heifers within 60 days of calving. Sheep: must not be treated within 42 days of slaughter for human consumption. Do not use in lactating sheep producing milk for human consumption. Do not use in sheep within 60 days of lambing where milk is to be used for human consumption. Pigs must not be treated within 28 days of slaughter for human consumption.

Pig Oil is a useful, traditional method of controlling mud fever in horses and ponies by helping to create a barrier to wet conditions around the legs and preventing cracked heels. Pig Oil also prevents the feathers snapping due to wet & muddy conditions - the 'Bog Burn'. Also lice dislike greasy environments so they are less likely to infest your horses legs. Pig oil is a mineral based oil that includes liquid paraffin. Pig Oils uses on mud fever and other scabbinesses. Mix the oil with some sulphur powder. Make it in to a paste of the consistency of custard and massage on to the scabs. In a few days they will be gone. To prevent mud fever, make a very thin mixture and get it right up next to the skin.
Dectospot Solution for Cattle and Sheep is a topical application used to control various lice, flies, fleas and ticks on cattle, sheep and lambs. The population of parasites vary and depend on the environment, the time of the year, who they come into contact with and habitat, to name but a few. Levels peak during summer with the risk of diseases spreading, therefore it is vital that you have the right treatment for your animal. Dectopost Solution is easy to use with spot-on treatment. A clear pale gold oily liquid that can be used in pregnancy and lactation. Cattle: Dose: 10ml. Controls Lice such as Damalinia bovis, Solenopotes capillatus, Linognathus vituli and Haematopinus eurysternus, with zero milk withdrawal in cattle. Controls biting and nuisance flies such as Haematobia irritans, Stomoxys calcitrans, Musca species and Hydrotaea irritans. One application should eradicate all lice within 4-5 weeks. This may stretch to 6-8 weeks on rare occasions. Fly level should be controlled within 4-8 weeks. Allow a 17 day period for meat withdrawal. Sheep: Dose: 5ml. Controls ticks Ixodes ricinus and treats blowfly in sheep. Ticks should be controlled up to 6 weeks after application. Treatment for flies should not be repeated within 4 weeks. Application for louse and ked should be reduced within a 4-6 week period. When treating Blowfly, apply directly to the maggot infested area. Application should ensure blowfly are killed in a short period of time. Allow a 35 day period for meat withdrawal. Lambs: Dose: 2.5ml (only under 10 kg bodyweight or 1 month of age). Controls ticks Ixodes ricinus and lice Bovicola ovis. Ticks should be controlled up to 6 weeks after application. When using the Dectospot Applicator (sold separately) on the skin of the animal, insert the T bar to separate the fleece and penetrate down the skin level before squeezing the applicator. (instructions can be found on applicator pack) - When applying the solution or handling the animal after treatment, it is recommend that you wear protective waterproof clothing including an apron, boots and impervious gloves. - Should your skin make contact with the solution, wash immediately with soap and plenty of warm water. Avoid contact with eyes. Seek medical advice after contact. - Incase of accidental ingestion, wash mouth out thoroughly and seek medical advice. - Do not drink, smoke or eat whilst handling this product, as this will increase risk of contamination. - Some cattle have shown minor signs of discomfort during the 48 hours after treatment. This is nothing to be concerned about and will have no long term effect on the animal. . - Do not mix with any other solution/ insecticide. This solution contains Deltamethrin, a highly toxic synthetic insecticide which, when in contact with skin, can produce tingling, itchiness and blotchy redness. It also has the potential to adversely affect non-target organisms, reducing the abundance of dung feeding organisms when excreted onto pastures by treated animals.
