Blitz those pesky rats with the Selfset Rat Trap. This traditional wooden trap has a powerful spring mechanism to humanely rid your premises of rats. It is easy to use and will kill the rat swiftly with one quick strike of the spring loop. This rat trap can be placed indoors or outdoors. Place a tasty morsel such as chocolate or peanut butter on the bait pedal to tempt the rat.

Instructions for Setting:
1. Carefully lift spring loop (B) and swing through 180° arc and hold down firmly against base of trap.
2. Lay locking rode (D) over the top of the spring loop and in line with locking rod housing ( C), set to the right for a fine setting or to the left for a firm setting.
3. Lift bait pedal (A) to 45° angle and simultaneously ease pressure off spring loop until locking rod engages into locking rod housing.
4. Place trap with the bait pedal facing the wall. Inspect trap daily and reset where necessary.
Position the trap where you know the rats are frequenting. A rat will mount the bait pedal to get at the tasty morsel and WHACK, the rat will be despatched quickly and humanely.
Clean and disinfect the rat trap and re-set it. Please ensure that the rat trap is out of reach of children and pets.
Always wear disposable gloves when handling rat traps and vermin. Double bag the rat and dispose of in accordance with local requirements. Wash hands thoroughly as an extra precaution.
