Camelibra should be fed to all alpacas, llamas and camels on a daily basis to complement a natural high fibre diet. For continued health, it is important for camelids to eat plenty of fibrous material and, as such, the consumption of concentrated hard feeds should always be kept to a minimum. Too much hard feed in the daily diet can cause compaction - a situation where heavier material sinks in the foregut and adversely affects the food's motility and normal gas eructation/regurgitation. For this reason, the daily feeding rate for Camelibra is designed to be very low at just 1g per kg live weight, or approximately 5% of their normal daily intake.

A palatable feed lick which has been proven to complement and balance forages by correcting nutrient deficiencies, improve forage digestibility, stimulate forage intakes and improve animal health and performance. Suitable for all ruminants and pigs. Smallholder Block is a palatable, high energy, mineralised feed lick which provides a concentrated source of sugar which is important to help maintain rumen digestive efficiency, since grass sugar levels fall dramatically both after dull, wet weather and as the grazing season progresses from summer into autumn. Sugar is vital for optimum forage digestion in ruminants. 100% Food Edible Smallholder Block is a free access, highly palatable and weather proof lick that encourages a natural, trickle feeding grazing pattern and balances the nutrient deficiencies in modern forage and grazing. Smallholder Block is suitable for all ruminants and pigs. Smallholder Block is not designed for equine consumption.

Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Must be fed soaked. Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will decrease the minimum soaking time), with 1 part Beet to 5 parts water. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required.
