Electric fencing uses a variety of products. Whether to use Tape, Wire or Rope depends on various factors - how much you want to spend, length of fence, temporary or long-term fence, conditions, i.e. length of grass. The Easyline Super 6 White Polywire is an electric fence wire generally used for short to medium cattle fences in good conditions. This wire is three times more conductive than standard polywire. It is not advisable to use it as a perimeter fence for horses. Electric fencing causes a brief shock: the pain short lived and doesn’t harm the animal. It is a much kinder option than an animal getting caught in barbed wire and having his skin torn causing severe pain and longer lasting damage. The animal will soon learn that leaning against the fence is not a good idea and will keep away from it. Conductor specification: 6 x 0.20mm ss Size: 2.5mm x 250m Colour: White

Rolled Barley 20kg Barley is an important part of many horse's diets. With a high level of calories and over 80% digestible it is a quality feed and very cost effective. We only use the finest barley available. It is a pale golden colour and is free from dust and debris. As some horses don't like the taste of barley, it can be fed with added molasses or even cooked to satisfy those fussy eaters. If you crush your own barley before feeding it to the horse, always ensure this is done just before feeding as the nutrition value of the barley declines over time after crushing. It is also a good idea to mix the barley with other feeds such as chopped hay or bran to ensure your horse gets a healthy balanced diet. As with all animal feed, it should be stored in a dry, cool area away from sunlight. A food storage container would be perfect.
Camelibra 20kg What Are the Benefits of Feeding Camelibra? Maintains normal gut health, feed motility, gas eructation and natural fibre digesting activity. Provides natural buffering and seaweed meal for foregut functioning and organic trace elements. Contains prebiotics to sustain beneficial fibre digesting bacteria. Contains high levels of essential vitamins and bio-available trace elements, including vitamins A, D3 & E, selenium, copper, manganese, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Provides 1020mg/kg of bio-available zinc, essential for high quality fibre and a healthy skin. Provides 'nanotechnology' products to maintain the natural defences against antagonists found in foodstuffs and the environment. Provides a unique combination of 13 active nutraceuticals. Contains the Oatinol® Delivery System™ to maintain a high rate of nutrient absorption. Manufactured to Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS) standards as palatable, easy-to-feed 2mm pellets. Camelibra should be fed to all alpacas, llamas and camels on a daily basis to complement a natural high fibre diet. For continued health, it is important for camelids to eat plenty of fibrous material and, as such, the consumption of concentrated hard feeds should always be kept to a minimum. Too much hard feed in the daily diet can cause compaction - a situation where heavier material sinks in the foregut and adversely affects the food's motility and normal gas eructation/regurgitation. For this reason, the daily feeding rate for Camelibra is designed to be very low at just 1g per kg live weight, or approximately 5% of their normal daily intake.
Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Must be fed soaked. Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will decrease the minimum soaking time), with 1 part Beet to 5 parts water. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required. NUTRIENTS All products are natural and seasonal variations can occur, the packaging of each product will detail the typical analysis which is relevant to the batch/cut within the bag.
