From the age of 6-8 weeks to 18-21 weeks chicks need a special diet to develop into fully grown healthy chickens. Dr Green Growers Pellets will give chicks this essential kickstart to provide them with all the necessary vitamins and minerals. Included in these essential minerals is Selenium which supports the body's antioxidant defence system and helps maintain a healthy metabolism and Zinc to aid digestion and for muscle growth and repair.
Also included in this nutritious feed is Hipro (high protein) Soyabean Meal which is an excellent source of protein and amino acids.
Feeding Guide:
Growers Pellets can be fed to growing chickens from 6-8 weeks to 18-21 weeks and should be fed as much and as often as needed.
Chicks do not have any teeth and need the correct flint grit to break down the fibre in their food. Therefore, it is essential that some form of insoluble grit is provided as the better the food is chewed and absorbed the better quality of chicken you will end up with.
The feed must be kept dry or it will spoil.
