The Reptisun lamps provide UVB (Ultraviolet B), UVA and visible light, that are suitable for use in reptile terrariums. The UVB wavelengths help to prevent or reverse metabolic bone disease in captive reptiles such as lizards, turtles, tortoises, snakes and amphibians. If you have more than one reptile living in the enclosure, the UVA wavelengths will help induce mating, feeding and other natural behaviours. Recommended by zoos, veterinarians and reptile professionals, Reptisun bulbs combines UVB wavelengths with heat.

- Reptisun lamps will provide your reptile with beneficial UVB for a period of 12 months when used for 10-12 hours per day. Record the date of first use on the lamp and replace after 12 months.
- This product becomes extremely hot during use and must not be touched.
- Before handling the holder allow plenty of time for it to cool completely (approx. 30 minutes)
- Always contact a qualified electrician if you are unsure.
