Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Tape Joiner. The Litzclip Tape Joiner does what it says on the packet - joins together two lengths of tape to make one continuous length of tape. This joiner has a galvanised steel plate and a plastic covering cap and is used to clamp together tapes up to 20mm in diameter. Sometimes, when erecting a fence, one roll of tape isn’t enough, and that’s when the joiner comes into its own.
No tools are required to join the tapes together. Simply feed the two ends of the tape through the eyelets in the Litzclip, fold them back and slide the plastic caps over to secure and fasten them. This is all manageable in a few seconds and offers one continuous line of tape to make the perfect electrical contact with the ultimate conductivity.
It is essential that electric fence tapes are not knotted together as knots can easily come apart or break, cutting off the flow of electricity reducing the effectiveness of the protection for your animals.
