Naf Mud Gard Barrier Cream 1.25 kg from the Naf 'Love the Skin He's In' range, is a rich nourishing barrier cream for protecting your horse's skin if he regularly out in wet and muddy conditions.
The cream is best used just before the beginning of the autumn and winter seasons to help prevent the onset of mud fever, also known as cracked heels, grassy heels, scratches and pastern dermatitis. Mud fever is often caused by bacteria or fungal organisms which thrive in muddy and wet conditions.
This cream contains MSM to support healthy skin and hair growth and also Rosemary which will help soothe any sore areas. Apply before turnout to clean and dry legs and work into the fur.
