Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Must be fed soaked. Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will decrease the minimum soaking time), with 1 part Beet to 5 parts water. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required. NUTRIENTS All products are natural and seasonal variations can occur, the packaging of each product will detail the typical analysis which is relevant to the batch/cut within the bag.

Joint Feed Balancer combines the benefits of a top specification conditioning feed balancer (TopSpec Comprehensive Feed Balancer) and a joint supplement. It is a superb product for a wide variety of horses, from those working very hard to those on box-rest. Joint Feed Balancer is a very palatable ‘Non-Heating’ feed which can be fed on its own or with additional feed where extra condition is required. Joint Feed Balancer also contains methionine and other bio-available sources of sulphur which help to maintain optimum function in tissues such as tendons, ligaments and muscles. Joint Feed Balancer contains a blend of anti-oxidants, including vitamins A, C and E to help maintain healthy cell function around the joints. It also includes a highly effective hoof supplement, which provides 15mg biotin per 500kg horse per day, which promotes a supple skin and a shiny coat. TopSpec Joint Feed Balancer contains optimum levels of pre- and probiotics to support a healthy digestive system in horses that are working hard, travelling, competing or otherwise stressed. The superb specification of Joint Feed Balancer allows horses to utilise far more nutrients from the forage and straights in their diet, which usually means that their hard feed intake can be reduced with many resulting benefits. Rolled Barley 20kg Barley is an important part of many horse's diets. With a high level of calories and over 80% digestible it is a quality feed and very cost effective. We only use the finest barley available. It is a pale golden colour and is free from dust and debris. As some horses don't like the taste of barley, it can be fed with added molasses or even cooked to satisfy those fussy eaters. If you crush your own barley before feeding it to the horse, always ensure this is done just before feeding as the nutrition value of the barley declines over time after crushing. It is also a good idea to mix the barley with other feeds such as chopped hay or bran to ensure your horse gets a healthy balanced diet. As with all animal feed, it should be stored in a dry, cool area away from sunlight. A food storage container would be perfect.
