Supabeet (Dried (sugar) beet feed, molassed) is listed under number 4.1.11 in the EU Catalogue of Feed Materials. Suggested feeding rates are produced as a guide only and many other factors may have an overriding effect on animal response; no performance guarantee can be given. Rations should be carefully balanced for energy and protein, contain sufficient forage to maintain rumen function and be fortified with an appropriate vitamin and mineral supplement. Animals must have constant access to clean water.
Unmolassed Sugar Beet Pellets Sugar beet pellets are vegetable matter, which are high in digestible fibre, high energy, and low protein. Sugar beets are processed for sugar, and once the sugar is extracted it leaves sugar beet pulp. The sugar pulp is then processed into pellets, making it easier to handle. Beet pellets are a great food supplement for the diet of horses, cattle, sheep, and goats. They are especially useful for under weight animals, due to their high calorie/energy content. Beet pellets are dried and due to this dehydrated state, it is advisable that they are soaked (completely submerged) in water for at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to feeding or until properly softened. Soaking can help reduce the sugar content of the pellets. The soaking process and access to water for the animals, will ensure they do not become dehydrated. Unmolassed beetpulp pellets - a source of high quality digestible fibre, with no added sugar. - ECONOMICAL - FREE FROM MOLASSES - PARTIAL HAY REPLACER SUITABLE FOR - ALL EQUINES - ENDURANCE - METABOLIC ISSUES - ELDERLY HORSES - FEEDING SOAKED FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. Must be fed soaked. Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will decrease the minimum soaking time), with 1 part Beet to 5 parts water. Feed according to requirements and condition. Start with 50g per 100kg of bodyweight per day, increase as required up to a maximum of 2.5kg per day. For example, for a 500kg horse start with 250g per day (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as required. NUTRIENTS All products are natural and seasonal variations can occur, the packaging of each product will detail the typical analysis which is relevant to the batch/cut within the bag.
Galvanised Steel Clamp for joining or connecting ropes up to 6mm diameter.
Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Tape Joiner. The Litzclip Tape Joiner does what it says on the packet - joins together two lengths of tape to make one continuous length of tape. This joiner has a galvanised steel plate and a plastic covering cap and is used to clamp together tapes up to 20mm in diameter. Sometimes, when erecting a fence, one roll of tape isn’t enough, and that’s when the joiner comes into its own. No tools are required to join the tapes together. Simply feed the two ends of the tape through the eyelets in the Litzclip, fold them back and slide the plastic caps over to secure and fasten them. This is all manageable in a few seconds and offers one continuous line of tape to make the perfect electrical contact with the ultimate conductivity. It is essential that electric fence tapes are not knotted together as knots can easily come apart or break, cutting off the flow of electricity reducing the effectiveness of the protection for your animals. Rolled Barley 20kg Barley is an important part of many horse's diets. With a high level of calories and over 80% digestible it is a quality feed and very cost effective. We only use the finest barley available. It is a pale golden colour and is free from dust and debris. As some horses don't like the taste of barley, it can be fed with added molasses or even cooked to satisfy those fussy eaters. If you crush your own barley before feeding it to the horse, always ensure this is done just before feeding as the nutrition value of the barley declines over time after crushing. It is also a good idea to mix the barley with other feeds such as chopped hay or bran to ensure your horse gets a healthy balanced diet. As with all animal feed, it should be stored in a dry, cool area away from sunlight. A food storage container would be perfect.
Pasteurella pneumonia is the biggest killer of sheep. Nearly all sheep carry the organisms on their tonsils and when animals are stressed, disease often results. Clostridial diseases can also strike without warning. The organisms responsible for these are widespread in the soil. The diseases are invariably fatal and all sheep are at risk. Heptavac-P Plus provides effective pasteurella and clostridial protection for breeding sheep. It is essential to give replacement ewes (and rams) two 2ml doses, 4 to 6 weeks apart when they join the flock. A booster dose is also required pre-lambing to maintain the ewe?s immunity and to provide high levels of antibodies that can be passed on to her lambs via the colostrum. For growing and store lambs Ovivac-P Plus should be used.Heptavac-P Plus contains antigens from seven clostridial species and antigens from the most important serotypes of Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella trehalosi.
Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Leadout Cable. A leadout cable is used to join the energiser to an electric fence and earth stake. If the energiser is some distance from the fence, for safety reasons, it can be run underground. The leadout cable is also useful to run under a gateway, so that the electric current is carried from the tape/rope on one side of the gate to the other side, safely underground. This Easy Leadout/Undergate Cable has a 1.6mm core and is a double insulated cable with a galvanised steel conductor. It is ideal for normal fence installations. Please note, that it is not advisable to use electrician’s cable for two reasons: - An electric fencing system will have up to 10,000 volts; an electrician’s cable is only designed to deal with 240 volts. - An electrician’s cable probably has copper as part of its make-up, and when this is connected to galvanised wire, it is likely to corrode at the joint. Size: 1.6mm x core x 25m
Electric fencing has many components. To function effectively an electric fencing set up sometimes needs a Polywire Joiner. The Joiner does what it says on the packet - joins together two lengths of polywire to make one continuous rope. This joiner is made of stainless steel and is used to clamp together polywire up to 3mm in diameter. Sometimes, when erecting a fence, one roll of polywire isn’t enough, and that’s when the joiner comes into its own. A line of polywire is attached to each end of the Polywire Joiner. Both ends of the polywire are then clamped down by tightening the screws using a spanner (not supplied) to offer one continuous line of polywire to make the perfect electrical contact with the ultimate conductivity. It is essential that the electric fence polywire has no kinks or knots as knots and kinks can easily cause the polywire to break, cutting off the flow of electricity reducing the effectiveness of the protection for your animals.
