This Super Mix bag of bird food is a unique blend of Chopped Peanuts, Sunflower Hearts and Red Dari which provide the three dietary sources of calories (energy), i.e. protein, carbohydrates and fat that birds need to thrive. Garden birds will delight in this heavenly mix, which has the added flavour of aniseed which is adored by many birds, especially siskins, tits, finches and robins.
Red Dari is high in energy and a good source of protein and carbohydrates.
Sunflower hearts are full of essential oils which are very helpful in keeping birds feathers and skin healthy and in tip top condition. They are also a great source of energy. They are a no fuss, no mess food which birds love. More time spent eating the delicious little hearts than wasting energy trying to split open the husk. They are especially favoured by gardeners as there is no mess left on the lawn.
Chopped peanuts are rich in protein and fats and are much easier to digest than whole peanuts, especially for young chicks.
It is essential that birds are fed all year round, not just in the winter as they need energy to get them through the different seasons such as nesting time in the spring when they also have chicks to feed.

This Super Mix can be fed from the ground, a bird table or a suitable feeder. Always provide clean, fresh water. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Once opened, ideally store in an air-tight container. Not for human consumption. Contains nuts.
