This bird seed mix for garden birds is an ideal source of protein due to the generous amount of peanuts that are added. The peanuts are in a kibbled form which means they are suitable for most handing seed feeders and small birds will not choke on them. This mix is also a fantastic source of energy for the birds which is ideal for winter feeding.
Most hanging bird feeders would be suitable for this feed, it can also be fed on a bird table.
The mix includes: Wheat, which is high in calories. Kibbled peanuts, which are high in protein and essential oils. Kibbled maize, red dari and kibbled peas, which are high in carbohydrates. Black sunflower seeds, which are a great source of energy.
All the peanuts we use in our mixes are aflatoxin screened ensuring these are free from the harmfull poison known as aflatoxin, which can be deadly to wild birds.

The bag weighs 13kg and would fill a 23ltr storage container. Seed should be stored in a clean, dry and cool area.
If you were to use a standard seed feeder of 330g then you should expect to refill it around 40 times from this on bags. Each refill would cost as little as 30p.
