The Feldy Chicken Pecker Block is a high quality, bespoke product for the commercial and domestic chicken keeper. The blend of 12 specially selected ingredients contributes to the flock's daily intake of essential nutrients. In addition, each block provides occupational therapy for your birds by reducing boredom and helping prevent feather pecking in the flock. Feeding Instructions Although a great suplement and secondary feed we reccomend you feed the block in conjuction with your chickens regular layers meal, mash or pellet diet and see improvement in condition, feathering and health. Simply cut the bottom of the bucket and either hang by the pre-made handle or leave on the ground upside down so the base of the bucket points upwards and your girls can peck freely. Agrivite Mixed Poultry Grit is a mixture of Oystershell Grit and Flint Grit. Oystershell grit is essential for poultry to produce healthy egg shells and Flint grit is essential to improve feather and bone quality. As birds don’t have teeth, their food is ground down in their stomach with the aid of grit. The mixed grit is a combination of soluble and non-soluble grit. The Flint Grit is the non-soluble grit which stays in the birds’ crop to aid digestion. Grit is also necessary in preventing feather-pecking tendencies. Dr Green Mixed Corn is a dust free high quality scatter feed that is a firm favourite amoungst chickens, ducks, geese and many other birds. This is a great additional bonus for your poultry, helping to add some delicious fats and practical protein to their diet but shouldn't be a replacement for a fully balanced pellet, meal or mash. How Much Mixed Corn Should I Feed My Chickens ?
