Scaly Leg remover is an effective repellent that targets scaly leg parasites and provides immediate relief from itching and irritation. Scaly Leg Disease is a very common, highly contagious disease in poultry. Unlike other mites, the Scaly leg mites (also known as Knemidocoptes mutans) live out of site under the scales of the bird's leg, which makes it difficult to see until it has got good hold. Should Scaly leg get worse, it can cause lameness in birds, which is why it is important to have the right treatment on hand and know when to use it. Scaly leg remover is a specially blended formula which, when used, effectively controls the scaly leg parasites.The natural blend of oils and repellents form a protective barrier against the parasites, smothering and suffocating parasites that already live there. Itching and inflammation will be immediately relieved and further infestation will be prevented.
Things to look out for: Visible signs of Scaly leg show symptoms such as scabs, lifted scales, a white dust over the scabs and open wounds caused by burrowing mites. Should Scaly leg worsen to Lameness, you may find birds limping and struggling to move. Seek veterinary expertise.

Instructions:
Shake the bottle well and remove all eggs, feed and drinking water before use. For Small Birds - Apply 1-2 trigger pulls per leg For Average sized Birds - Apply 5 trigger pulls per leg For Large Birds - Apply 10 trigger pulls per leg. Spray directly onto the leg/feet, comb and wattles to wet the infested areas. Repeat every 5-6 days to break the reproductive cycle, until the infestation is gone. This spray can also be used for prevention and general maintenance once every 3 months. Do not use on feathers.
