Dr Green Mixed Corn is a dust free high quality scatter feed that is a firm favourite amoungst chickens, ducks, geese and many other birds. This is a great additional bonus for your poultry, helping to add some delicious fats and practical protein to their diet but shouldn't be a replacement for a fully balanced pellet, meal or mash. How Much Mixed Corn Should I Feed My Chickens ? Per bird, scatter a small handfull on the floor of their run in the evening this should help them keep a full crop overnight and encourage your birds peck and forage naturally; Keeping them happy, occupied and well fed. Cut Maize is a real indulgence for your chickens, ducks, geese and game birds; usually found at different ratios within a bag of mixed corn. This bag is purely cut maize. A wonderful grain feed, best kept as a treat or alongside a compound such as layers pellets or mash. Cut maize is a great way of keeping them topped up with extra protein, energy, and fat over colder periods. Use sparingly at first and monitor your birds, as cut / split maize can increase their overall weight and hens may not lay if they gain too much. Ideally scattered on the ground in the evening as a treat, cut maize encourages your birds to forage naturally and is more easily digested in this (split) form. Size: 13kg

Heygates Poultry Feed With Flubenvet (Layers Pellets with wormer). This is a complete medicated feed with added Flubenvet for the treatment of worms in chickens. It is effective against gapeworm, large roundworm, hairworm and gizzard worm. No more mixing chicken wormer in with the feed - just feed layers pellets with Flubenvet as you would a normal pellet. These medicated pellets are to be fed solely for 7 consecutive days. Withdraw feed 7 days before slaughter. Zero withdrawal period for eggs. Eggs must be for personal use only and not for resale. You will need to buy the same amount that your poultry would consume in a week on normal layers pellets, as Heygates Layers Pellets with Flubenvet acts as a replacement. As a quick example, 1kg per bird or one 10kg bag for 10 birds over a week. We recommend that you worm your chickens every 3 month. If you are taking on new birds or ex battery it is also advised to worm. This product is a medicine that needs to be prescribed by an authorised specialist, so we will need gather some information before we can dispatch it.
