Mr Johnson's Advance Rat and Mouse food is a superior complementary feed for all breeds of mice and rats. This food is full of essential vitamins and minerals including Verm-X which is a 100% natural blend of herbs and is used as a natural way to control intestinal hygiene.
Rats and mice enjoy foraging. By feeding them a variety of appropriate food and hiding it around the cage will meet their natural need to forage. They are omnivores and should be fed a small portion of suitable fresh fruit and vegetables. They should also be fed lean, cooked meat twice a week. Look after your little friend and he will be healthy and full of life. Go on, make his day – after all, he is special.

Gnawing on the crunchy nuggets will help to keep their teeth trim and healthy. This problem is usually sorted out by having something crunchy to chew on. If your pet is still having problems with his teeth, please take him to a vet to have his teeth looked at.

Growing Adult
Rat 16 to 28g/day 15 to 25g/day
Mouse 6 to 10g/day 5 to 9g/day
To overcome selective feeding, it is preferable to feed your rat or mouse twice a day, dividing their daily requirements into two portions, feeding one portion in the morning and the other in the evening. Selective feeding is when your pet is given his food at one sitting and picks out his favourite bits, leaving the rest, often missing out on vital nutrients. If he is fed twice a day, he will be quite hungry at the first sitting and eat everything and will probably still be hungry enough to eat everything at the second sitting.
A change in their diet should be introduced over seven days to avoid digestive upsets. This can be done by replacing some of their existing food each day with the new food until, by day seven, the food is fully changed over.
Rats and mice must have access to clean, fresh water at all times.
This food should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
