Mammals regulate their body temperature from within, whereas reptiles maintain and regulate their body temperatures by relying on their natural environment. They will use the Sun and the shade to remain warm or cool. That is why it is so important that we get the temperature right within their enclosure, mimicking their natural environment as closely as possible. The Ceramic Heater is ideal for all species of reptiles and amphibians, including lizards, snakes and frogs.
Non-light emitting, the lamp provides an efficient heat source that will help to raise the core body temperature of the reptile. With various sizes and different Watt measurements available, choosing the correct size is important; larger Vivariums will require larger lamps.
