A 25kg sack of Peanuts for garden birds. That's all there is in this bag, just simple, high quality peanuts for birds. Peanuts are an ideal wild bird food source and will appeal to a wide range of wild birds throughout the year due to their high content of natural oils, protein, essential vitamins and minerals. For garden and wild birds, peanuts should ideally be fed from a peanut feeder (with a mesh), but they can be fed from bird tables and the ground. However, during the breeding season peanuts should only be fed from a peanut feeder to reduce the risk of a choking hazard for hatchlings and young birds. Although not a naturally occurring foodstuff for our native birds most species will readily accept them when offered and they are ideal to help wild birds through harsh or demanding times. Peanuts are popular with tits, greenfinches, house sparrows, nuthatches, great spotted woodpeckers and siskins. If you crush the peanuts up, it will also attract robins and dunnocks too as well as being safe to use in the breeding season.

A 13kg sack of 100% Dr Green Striped Sunflower Seeds. Striped Sunflower Seeds are larger than Black Oil Sunflower Seeds and have a harder shell. The biggest seeds are processed for use in human food, whereas these small ones are used to feed garden birds. The nutmeat inside is highly nutritious and offers high energy. They're also a good source of protein, fibre, carbohydrates, fat, oil, linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid), calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin E, B vitamins, potassium, selenium, iron, phosphorus and cholesterol lowering phytosterols! These seeds will attract larger birds or ones with tougher beaks as they need to be cracked open, examples include Crows, Finches, Nuthatches, Woodpeckers and even your pet parrot. If you find that your distribution of other seeds such as Black Sunflower Seeds is depleted quickly, we suggest instead trying these as they'll take longer for the birds to eat. If you find you have a problem with squirrels in your garden, we suggest filling a seperate feeder with these Striped Sunflower Seeds. They're loved by the squirrels and will keep them busy while the garden birds enjoy the other seeds. The same can also be said if you have problems with larger birds stealing all the seed from the smaller ones. Larger birds and squirrels will eat these whereas the small birds are free to enjoy the other seeds you offer, everyone's happy!

Mr Johnson's Advance Guinea Pig food is a superior complementary food for guinea pigs and should be fed with unlimited access to good quality hay. It is important that some sort of chewing material is added to your guinea pig’s cage because your little furry pet will need something to gnaw on to keep his teeth trim. Mr. Johnson’s Advance Guinea Pig food is perfect for this job. The nuggets are crunchy and scrumptious and full of the flavours that guinea pigs adore and will help prevent selective feeding. Put some nuggets in your guinea’s cage for him to gnaw at as they will also help to wear down his growing teeth. The Advance Guinea Pig food is full of essential vitamins and minerals including Verm-X which is a 100% natural blend of herbs and is used as a natural way to control intestinal hygiene. It also includes Vitamin C, as a lack of this vitamin can cause serious health issues such as scurvy. Advance Guinea Pig also contains yucca extract to lower ammonia levels which reduces odour in waste promoting a more pleasant environment for pet and owner. To overcome selective feeding, it is preferable to feed your guinea pig twice a day, dividing his daily requirements into two portions, feeding one portion in the morning and the other in the evening. Selective feeding is when your pet is given his food at one sitting and picks out his favourite bits, leaving the rest, often missing out on vital nutrients. If he is fed twice a day, he will be quite hungry at the first sitting and eat everything and will probably still be hungry enough to eat everything at the second sitting. Rodents have front teeth that grow continuously and need to be checked often to ensure that they are not causing a problem. This problem is usually sorted out by having something crunchy to chew on. If your pet is having problems with his teeth, please take him to a vet to have his teeth looked at. Chewing on these treats will fulfil his need through stimulating fun to control boredom and stress levels. Look after your little friend and he will give you lots of pleasure. Go on, make his day – after all, he is special. This balanced and nutritious food includes: - Vitamin C which is an essential supplement in a guinea pig’s daily diet. - Yucca extract – to reduce waste odour - Glucosamine which aids joint mobility - Fibre to assist normal digestive function Feeding Guide: Guinea pig size Qty Young/Growing 35–55g/day Adult maintenance 30-50g/day Lactating guineas 40-55g/day This is a guide only. The ProRep Basking Spot Lamp provides light and warmth for day-active reptile species living in Vivariums such as Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos. The Reptile... thousands upon thousands of various types and species, each and every one of them with a uniquely different habitat. Reptiles are among the planet's oldest creatures and, having been around for nearly 200 million years, it's safe to say that they have evolved. Nowadays, people enjoy keeping various reptiles as pets; Bearded Dragons, Corn Snakes and Pythons, to name a few. In order to attempt to recreate their natural habitat within Vivariums and Terrariums, we need to know everything from what food they eat, which bedding they require and even the level of heat they require in their home. While reptiles are very different in many ways on the outside, they all share something in common. Mammals are able to regulate their body temperature from within, whereas reptiles maintain and regulate their body temperatures by relying on their natural environment. They will use the Sun and the shade to remain warm or cool. That is why it is so important that we get the temperature right within their enclosure, mimicking their natural environment as closely as possible. This Basking Spot Lamp creates a hotspot for basking species, increasing ambient air temperature in their enclosure and encouraging natural thermo-regulatory behaviour. With various sizes and Watt measurements available and with easy to use screw-fitting, it is important that you choose the correct one for the size of the enclosure; larger Vivariums will require larger lamps. Full instructions on how to use the lamp correctly and safely can be found on the packaging. Remember to always use a heater guard and thermostat (sold separately), so that you can track and manage the temperature throughout the day. A heater guard will protect the reptile from burns. Shine a light on your reptile's life and keep him toasty and warm with the ProRep Basking Spot Lamp. Sizes Available: 40w, 60w, 100w Full instructions can be found on the packaging. - This product becomes extremely hot during use and must not be touched. - Before handling the heater allow plenty of time for it to cool completely (approx. 30 minutes) - Designed for indoor use only. - It is recommended that you use the heater with a thermostat, to allow you to keep track of the temperature. - Always contact a qualified electrician if you are unsure.
