Description

Badminton Country Mix is a quality coarse mix suitable for cattle, sheep, goats and deer. No need to buy a different type of food for each animal as this convenient bag of nutritious feed will suit all ruminants. This micronised feed is food which has been ground down into smaller particles offers improved digestibility which helps to reduce the risk of digestive upsets.

Full of vitamins and minerals, with no added copper, this feed is a scrumptiously textured supplement that will enhance performance. This feed is perfect for the increased requirements of pregnant or lactating stock as it provides a readily available energy source. It is also superb for those animals growing on or those that simply need extra calories not provided by forage alone.

Feeding Guide:

Country Mix can be fed to growing cattle from 6 months of age. For beef animals, if grass is limited or when forage is insufficient to sustain the required growth, 0.5 - 1kg of Country Mix can be fed for every 100kg of liveweight.

For dairy cows, ad lib good quality grass or forage can be supplemented with 0.5kg of Country Mix for every litre of milk produced.

Country Mix can be introduced during the last 3-4 weeks of a cow’s pregnancy at a rate of up to 1kg per day, depending on breed.

Lambs and kids may be carefully introduced to Country Mix as soon as they show an interest in concentrate feed.

In-lamb/kid and lactating ewes/goats may have their forage supplemented with 0.5-1.25kg per day of Country Mix.

Other animals may be supplemented with Country Mix at a rate of 0.5-0.75kg per day, depending on size and quality of forage.
