A field fenced off with electric fencing, more often than not, needs a gate for easy access. The Elastic Rope Gate Set serves this purpose wonderfully. It can be set up in any part of the field and is simple to use. This gate set comprises an elasticated electric rope extendable from 3m to 6m, a unique insulated gate handle and two gate anchor insulators.
The gate handle has an internal extension spring to provide tension on the line and is also ridged to offer a superb grip. The elasticated electric rope is perfect for using as a gate. Its high visibility due to its white colour, electric current and practical handle make it the perfect easy access setup into a field and a deterrent to your animals.
To function effectively, an electric fencing set up needs a gate anchor insulator. A gate handle or electric fence rope can be attached to either metal end of the insulator which allows the electrical current to flow through. The insulator is made from a very strong polyamide plastic which is attached to a wooden post with two metal screws.
Electric fencing causes a brief shock: the pain short lived and doesn’t harm the animal. It is a much kinder option than an animal getting caught in barbed wire and and having his skin torn causing severe pain and longer lasting damage.
