Turmeraid is the 'wonder pellet' for easing the pain of inflamed joints in horses and ponies. It is a tasty pellet with many health benefits that your horse will find appealingly palatable.
Turmeraid can be safely fed to laminitics as part of a low sugar and low starch diet, and it gives the immune system and natural defences a healthy boost to promote healing. Turmeric is a natural spice with a history of use as a flavouring and in herbal remedies.
Beneficial Ingredients:
Turmeric (which includes curcumin) - has anti-inflammatory properties and is a strong antioxidant.
Cracked Black Pepper - aids the efficiency of curcumin into the bloodstream
Linseed Oil - helps to promote a healthy and shiny coat
Yucca - aids digestion
Apple cider vinegar - increases palatability, optimises digestion, supports joints, natural insect repellent
Feeding Guidelines:
For large horses (over 700kg) feed 1.5 scoops twice a day.
For 500kg horse/pony - feed 1 scoop twice a day.
For smaller ponies (under 300kg) feed 1/2 scoop a day.
1 Scoop = 25g
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
