Protecting your horse during fly season 🐎
This time of the year is the beginning of fly season. Unfortunately, they love nothing more than to pester our beautiful horses. These insects, although small, can irritate and cause harm to your horses.
Flies carry all kinds of bacteria. They go out searching for moisture (like on horse’s eyes, face, blood, saliva, tears, mucus and open wounds). When they land they deposit bacteria, larvae, viruses and parasites straight onto our horses’ most sensitive places. This leads to sores, rashes and misery that can be hard to treat (but we can help with that!)
