FAQ

Delivery is normally made within 2 working days.

The delivery is based on parcel weight, and the breakdown is:

 

  • Under 1kg - £1.99
  • 2kg-28kg - £2.99
  • 28kg - 280kg Every 28kg parcel, is an additional £2.99 up to a maximum of £29.99.
  • 280kg - 1,000kg - £29.99 
  • Every 1,000kg thereafter is £29.99 

  •  Surchages
There may be an additional surcharge for heavy/bulky items, and pallet deliveries to rural areas. 



 

After you have placed your order online, we will send you an order confirmation with the subject line “Farm and Pet Place order confirmation”.

If you haven’t received this email within 24 hours of placing your order or your products have not been delivered within the timescale stated in the email, then please contact our sales team on 0845 073 9610. Our sales team are available 7am – 9pm Monday – Friday and 9am – 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Please ensure that you inform us of any special instructions when placing your order. Our couriers deliver on a number of different vehicles depending on the service so please let us know if access to your property is in anyway restrictive. We will do our best to arrange for your order to arrive in the best possible way to suit.
(If you order is returned due to our couriers being unable to access your property your delivery charge may not be refunded)

Delivery charges and options

We want you to be happy with your delivery so we have teamed up with a selected number of couriers to ensure we can offer you the delivery service that best suits your order and also the most cost effective. So we will be using Royal Mail for and Parcel Force for orders up to 28kg. For large items and orders over 100kg Edge Transport will handle our pallet deliveries. In addition, some of the items we sell are despatched directly from the manufacturer. These items will be delivered separately by the manufacturer’s own couriers

Your order will be reviewed once received by our sales team to ensure we do use the service that’s best for you.

Orders placed Monday to Friday before 2pm will be picked and dispatched the same day. Delivery is normally made within 48/72hours although your order could arrive the next day, depending on the service that is best suited and cost effective for you.

An email will be sent with confirmation that your order has been sent, if your order has been dispatched with Parcel Force you will recieve tracking information direct from Parcel Force.

Delivery coverage

We currently deliver to the UK mainland, Northern Ireland and UK offshore island addresses. We do not permit delivery to the following UK & BFPO postcode ranges:

  • Guernsey, GY1 – GY9
  • Jersey, JE1 – JE4
  • Isles of Scilly, TR21 – TR25
  • BFPO1 – BFPO0999

Deliveries are made on weekdays (Monday to Friday) between 8am and 6pm, although if you are in a hurry for a delivery we are able to arrange express and weekend delivery’s (for additional delivery options please contact our sales team). If you or the intended recipient are not available, each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on this card to rearrange delivery or to collect your products.

Our couriers will do their best to deliver your parcel, but if your parcel is returned to us for any reason that is out of our control, we will contact you. Depending on the reason for return, it will be at the discretion of Farm and Pet Place as to whether to apply a re-delivery charge.

If you are not home when Parcel force deliver you may arrange to collect your parcel from you local post office or arrange a re-delivery by visiting the Parcel Force website - http://www.parcelforce.com/receiving-parcel

If you find that your order has only been partly delivered, you may find that the rest of your order arrives separately due to packaging. However, if your order is obviously incomplete, over-delivered or damaged, or if you wish to change or cancel your order, please email our sales team or telephone on 0845 073 9610 between 7am – 9pm Monday-Friday and 9am – 6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Collecting your order in store

We offer a call and collect service. To check stock availability at any of our stores call our sales line. Our team can then reserve your stock at your chosen store ready for your collection.
