About us
The Farm and Pet Place Ltd was established in 1970 by our Managing Director Gwyn Lewis. Coming from a traditional Welsh farming and timber merchant background he started the business as an agricultural merchant, combining his experience selling animal health and farm feeds with his knowledge of farming.
Over the next 20 years, the business grew from van sales to five small premises in the North Wales area. Then, in 1994, a strategic decision was made to include pet food and accessories - and a new store called the Farm + Pet Place.
Currently we have four stores (which are open 7 days a week 363 days a year), a warehouse and head office. The company has gone to great lengths to source quality products to develop our own brand "Dr Green", with so much success that we have just begun selling these products to other wholesalers.
At our stores, we sell a vast range of farm, pet and equine supplies. Everything from food, housing, bedding, accessories, hay bales wild bird food, tools, implements, clothing to pet food.
